Charcoal invites Evan Parker
Before they heard of Prince, a lot of European music fans had only heard of Minneapolis because of Milo Fine. In the late seventies, he recorded with Joe McPhee and French musicians Raymond Boni and Andre Jaume almost 30 years before Minnesota sur Seine. Recently, Philippe Carles the editor of the French monthly Jazz Magazine reminded us of his record "Lucid Anarchists" as a forgotten treasure. Charcoal with Anthony Cox and Davu Seru, one of the most interesting new voices in the Free music field will be one of the inventors of modern Free Music, Evan Parker.
